POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Specialist - AP / AR to join our finance team. The role involves managing and analyzing financial data related to accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), as well as performing data entry to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities for managing membership invoicing, payments, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain accurate financial records by performing data entry and verifying information for invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for membership invoicing, including generating and sending invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data related to AP / AR and membership payments, identifying discrepancies, and assisting in resolving issues.
  • Prepare and generate financial reports, including membership payment reports, aging reports, cash flow analysis, and transaction summaries.
  • Collaborate with membership teams to ensure accurate billing, payment processing, and timely updates to membership accounts.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by providing AP / AR and membership data and supporting documentation.
  • Support audits by providing AP / AR and membership-related data and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, membership payments, and other financial documentation.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency in AP / AR and membership financial management.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
  • Experience in data entry and familiarity with AP / AR processes is preferred but not required.
