We are currently seeking a highly experienced Account Executive - Commercial Lines Insurance. This position requires a professional with a deep understanding of the commercial insurance landscape and a proven track record in managing and retaining large accounts. The ideal candidate should have 8 years of experience working within a larger brokerage and be able to navigate complex commercial lines with ease.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, retaining renewals, servicing new business, and collaborating with producers to support business development, all while maintaining the highest standards of client service. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring that they receive customized insurance solutions that address their unique business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Engage with clients to assess their unique business risks and exposures, using independent judgment to recommend customized insurance solutions tailored to their specific needs.
- Client Advisory: Act as the lead advisor for clients on all day-to-day matters, escalating significant issues to the producer when necessary.
- Coverage Solutions: Present clients with various coverage alternatives, considering their operations, claims history, and market conditions, including options for deductibles, retention levels, and additional coverages.
- Carrier Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers to ensure timely receipt of quotes, policies, and other necessary documentation.
- New Business Support: Collaborate with producers during the new business process, ensuring smooth transitions and assuming management of the account once coverage is bound.
- Renewal Marketing & Account Management: Lead efforts for renewals, ensuring all necessary actions are taken to successfully renew and round out accounts.
Desired Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in servicing Mid- to Large-Market commercial accounts, ideally within a large brokerage setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of policy coverage, rating, and underwriting.
- Valid CA Property & Casualty (P&C) License.
- Willingness to commute to the office two days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
