Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial accounts, providing exceptional client service, and ensuring the retention and growth of our business. The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their insurance needs and providing expert advice.


Responsibilities:


Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned commercial clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and concerns.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to assess insurance needs and identify opportunities for coverage enhancements.


Policy Management:

  • Manage the renewal process for assigned accounts, ensuring accurate and timely policy renewals.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations.
  • Review and analyze insurance policies to ensure accuracy and adequacy of coverage.
  • Issue certificates of insurance.


Claims Management:

  • Assist clients with the claims process, providing guidance and support.
  • Monitor claims progress and ensure timely resolution.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers.


Marketing and Underwriting:

  • Market accounts to insurance carriers to obtain competitive quotes.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to ensure accurate and appropriate policy placement.


Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in agency management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable insurance regulations and company policies.
  • Process invoices and handle premium questions.


Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling insurance products.
  • Contribute to the agency's overall growth and retention goals.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of [Number] years of experience in commercial lines account management.
  • Valid Property & Casualty insurance license required.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • CIC, CPCU, or other insurance designation is a plus.

Salary : $65 - $80
