Our client is a well-established independent insurance agency located in Englewood, FL, specializing in personalized insurance solutions for individuals and businesses. Known for delivering tailored coverage and exceptional client service, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their growing team.
This is an in-office position, working 4 days per week at the Englewood location. The Account Manager will manage a commercial book of business. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of service, handling renewals, and identifying opportunities to enhance coverage. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and experienced in commercial insurance account management.
Client Relations & Account Management
- Act as the main point of contact for a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive and responsive communication.
- Collaborate with producers and internal teams to deliver customized insurance solutions.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional coverages, including EPLI, Cyber, and Umbrella policies.
Policy Servicing & Renewals
- Manage mid-term policy changes, endorsements, and client updates.
- Oversee the renewal process, including coverage reviews, pricing updates, and loss history analysis.
- Prevent coverage gaps and provide proactive risk management support to clients.
Operational Efficiency & Compliance
- Utilize agency management systems to track policy details and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with state and industry regulations.
Reporting & Strategic Insight
- Generate reports to track account performance and retention metrics.
- Work with leadership to establish and meet service-related KPIs.
- Provide client feedback and market insight to help shape agency strategy.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2 years of experience in commercial insurance account management.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverage options, and claims handling.
- Active Florida Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Strong client relationship, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with AMS/CRM systems like HawkSoft, Veruna, EzLynx, Applied Epic, or similar.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
