Responsibilities
- Review and verify loan applications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Process various types of loans according to bank policies.
- Communicate with stakeholders to collect necessary information and resolve issues.
- Ensure loan compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as internal bank policies.
- Input and update loan information in the bank's loan processing system.
- Coordinate loan closings and prepare final loan documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-ups on pending loan applications.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in loan processing, banking, or a related field preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple loan files efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software.
- Knowledge of banking regulations, loan documentation, and underwriting guidelines is a plus.
