Houseperson - Part Time- Weekends

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Maintain cleanliness in bathrooms by sanitizing fixtures and replenishing supplies.
• Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages to management.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed or requested by management.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness in accordance with hotel or facility policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
• Good physical stamina; must be able to lift and move items as necessary.
