We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our dynamic team in the food service industry. Duties
- Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to confirm order details and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor food preparation processes to ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper handling techniques.
- Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, supporting kitchen staff during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Help train new staff on best practices for food handling and preparation as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary practices, including food safety regulations and proper cooking techniques.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
