Responsibilities:
- Proactive Case Management: Operate with a solutions-first approach by independently drafting documents, conducting initial research, and handling client communications with confidence. Seek guidance as needed but aim to address issues independently and effectively.
- Time and Task Management: Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines consistently, and accurately record billable hours in Clio to ensure timely and accurate client billing.
- Client and Case Interaction: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining professionalism and responsiveness to provide timely updates and address inquiries.
- Legal Research and Document Preparation: Conduct thorough research, prepare initial drafts of legal documents, and assist in all aspects of case-related tasks, particularly for hearings and trials.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings to support attorneys’ time management, optimizing efficiency.
- Document and Records Management: Organize and maintain client files, court records, and other critical documents to support case progression and accessibility.

This summer internship program will be 12 weeks, 15 to 20 hours per week. You will have the opportunity to do an array of legal duties where you will be able to obtain valuable knowledge on what it takes to be an attorney in multiple case law: Criminal, Family, and Civil.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- Investigative mind and strong research skills;
- Seeking continued education (Bachelor, Masters or Law Degree)
