Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.
The Alfred Hospital is a large tertiary referral centre with state-of-the-art imaging facilities. We are the first teaching hospital in Australia to implement a subspecialty reporting model. Applications are encouraged from suitably qualified medical officers. The successful candidate will be expected to have experience in CT, ultrasound and MRI. The candidates daily responsibilities will involve managing the body section of the department. This will include non vascular intervention (including percutaneous tumour ablation) and preparing/chairing clinicoradiological meetings.
On-call services, excluding night call, will be required.
