ASPHALT PLANT OPERATOR - JOIN OUR TEAM!
The Allen Company, Inc. is a leading Road Construction and Asphalt Paving Contractor in Central Kentucky. Our business operations are made up of limestone quarries, hot-mix asphalt plants, road construction, asphalt paving, concrete work, grading, drainage, site preparation, excavation, and utility work. Since 1939, The Allen Company has been family owned and operated, expanding its operations during that time to 4 Quarry locations and 5 Asphalt Plants. We service Clark, Fayette, Woodford, Jessamine, Garrard, Lincoln, Boyle, Jackson and Madison counties.
Currently, The Allen Company, Inc. is looking for an Asphalt Plant Operator in Berea, Ky. The Plant Operator is responsible for managing and leading the daily operations. Ensuring a safe and efficient environment that includes competencies in safety, administrative, leadership/supervisory, and technical skills.
Responsibilities Include:
· Understanding of the asphalt plant operations and equipment
· Knowledge of preventative maintenance principles and practices
· Lead and direct the maintenance of the plant and operation issues
· Direct personnel on production goals and manage production schedule.
· Manage inventory of raw materials such as sand, stone, liquid asphalt, fuel,
· Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel, management, state & local officials, & customers.
· Implement and maintain the Corporate Safety Program including preplanning to identify conditions and exposures; proper safety and personal protective equipment; and accident investigation and reporting.

Education
