Lowboy Truck Driver
The Allen Company is seeking a qualified, hardworking dependable person for a Class A CDL Driver / Laborer to work on as a Lowboy driver in the central Kentucky area.
Responsibilities:
- Transport Heavy Equipment safely on a Tractor trailer to and from Job locations
- Perform general labor or shop work.
- Pre form proper Pre/Post Trip inspections on all Trucks and equipment.
- Flag Traffic or other loads when needed
- Attention to Safety
- All other Duties assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A CDL
- Haz/Mat license preferred
- Heavy Equipment Transportation experience is required
- Good driving record
- Preform a proper Pre and Post Trip inspection everyday
- The desire and ability to learn and work safely
- Dependable/Hardworking
- Must be able to show up for work every day and on time
- Physically able to climb / lift and function outside year round
- Must be able to maintain a Valid Med Card / CDL license and clean driving record
- Be available to work any shift schedule including overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screen, physical and background evaluation
- Report and return to Winchester shop every work day.
Full Time position with benefits. (Health, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, cancer and 401k match.)
Note: This is a full time position but layoff will probably take place when the work slows down. Depending on the work load this will vary from year to year. Work is limited on rainy days. Work will be decided by seniority.
Saturday work will be determined by work load.
