Boonesboro Quarry Blaster
Responsibilities:
Perform Blasting operations underground. At least 3 years of blasting experience is preferred.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
- Blaster License preferred
- At least 3 years of blasting experience preferred
- Drilling experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- The desire and ability to learn.
- Operate equipment.
- Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Physically able to climb.
- Able to function outside year-round with underground work required.
- Valid driver’s license with a positive driving record.
- Computer experience is a plus.
- Be available to work a second shift schedule including overtime and Saturdays as needed.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background evaluation.
