Job Description:
The Alliance for Rights and Recovery is seeking a talented Training and Technical Assistance Facilitator to join our expanding team. As a vital member of our Collective Training Team, you will play a key role in developing and delivering training programs and technical assistance initiatives across our statewide network. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about mental health recovery, and trauma informed, cultural aware practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivers training and provides technical assistance for mental health provider agencies and programs on-site and via online platforms.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
- Engages Agencies in training by marketing your training and technical assistance services via in person contacts, telephone and email, and the development and implementation of work plans.
- Creates and develops multi-media training and technical assistance materials including PowerPoint presentations, related exercises, pertinent documents and web resources.
- Assure timely submissions and entry of data and statistics.
- Attend conferences, webinars and workshops to update skills and market services.
- Represent the Collective and The Alliance for Rights and Recovery in National, statewide, and regional meetings in order to advance the work of the collective and engage the provider community in shifting the culture to enhance recovery-oriented practices.
- Attends and participates in team and agency meetings and supervision.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
· High Scholl Diploma or GED; BA/BS preferred.
· Experience in formal training.
· Demonstrated ability to engage others in training.
· High competency with computers/ technical equipment
· Excellent Oral and written communication skills
· Good Organizational and time management skills
· Ability to act independently.
· Lived experience with the mental health system preferred.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
