Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, and public spaces, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned rooms and areas including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors, removing trash.
- Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
- Provide custodial services in common areas to ensure they are clean and inviting for guests or residents.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients or residents.
