Job Description:
The Weekend Janitorial Employee will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the common areas of our high-rise building. This position requires someone who is dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, and other common areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper).
- Wipe down and disinfect surfaces such as railings, windows, and doors.
- Remove trash from floors and common areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good physical stamina for bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning supplies.
- Must be able to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends only
