Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will engage with customers, assist with product selections, and assisting customers try on formal wear (bridal dresses, mother of the bride dresses, bridal party dresses, prom dresses, tuxedos, and accessories). You must dress in a professional attire. You must know our inventory and assist our customers in selecting the perfect clothing for their big day.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging product demos.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system.
- Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor and assist with inventory management.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support in their roles.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries effectively.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience with stock management and maintaining inventory levels is a plus.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential.
