DIRECTOR OF ACQUISITIONS AND FRANCHISING
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Acquisitions and Franchising to lead our company’s acquisition and franchising strategy.
The Director of Acquisitions and Franchising will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential business opportunities, conducting due diligence, and leading negotiations for franchising and acquisitions.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, strong financial acumen, and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
They should also have a deep understanding of the market and industry trends.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement acquisition strategies and plans
- Preparing and managing franchising FDD document.
- Directing and monitoring national franchise growth and expansion
- Identify potential franchise and acquisition targets and conduct an initial evaluation
- Lead due diligence process and negotiate terms of franchising and acquisitions
- Ensuring uniformity throughout contracts and agreements with franchise businesses
- Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Serving as a liaison between franchises and company.
- Forecasting industry trends and spotting new opportunities on a regional or national level
- Relationship management with shareholders and franchisees
- Collaborating with the sales and marketing departments of your business and identifying growth strategies, plans, and goals for increasing the number of franchises in a region or district
- Recruiting candidates to become new franchise owners and negotiating a contract
- Developing marketing strategies to promote the company’s products or services in local markets
- Coordinating with other staff members in the company to ensure that all operations are running smoothly
- Developing training programs for new franchisees, employees, and managers
- Recruiting prospective franchisees based on their financial resources, business experience, and personal characteristics.
- Manage day to day operations of franchise program and franchises.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Director of Acquisitions and Franchising or similar role
- Deep understanding of M&A and franchising processes, due diligence, and valuations
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to acquisitions
- BSc/BA in Business, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MA/MBA is a plus
