Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers, providing a welcoming and informative shopping experience.
- Understand customer needs and recommend furniture options that fit their style, space, and budget.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, pricing, financing, and protection plans.
- Close sales efficiently and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Process transactions, complete paperwork, and follow up on pending sales.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness and ensure furniture displays are well-organized and appealing.
- Stay up-to-date with current promotions, industry trends, and competitor pricing.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Follow up with customers post-sale to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience (preferably in furniture, retail, or commission-based roles) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Goal-oriented with a competitive drive to succeed.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer skills for processing sales and managing customer data.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move furniture when needed.
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred but not required).
