Responsibilities
- Conduct basic audiologic test battery for adults and pediatrics as well as patient counseling and education
- Perform and interpret specialized diagnostic testing including ABR (mostly newborn/some adult), VNG and VEMP. Some ABRs in OR.
- BPPV treatment
- Conduct hearing aid consultation, dispense and fit amplification (no 3PAs) and follow-up care
- Ponto and Osia providers
- Follow best practices for dispensing including real ear verification and electroacoustic analysis of hearing aids
- Aural Rehabilitation classes provided to patients
- There are many speaking and engagement opportunities in the community if that is something that interests the applicant
