May provide services on site at Gateway and in the surrounding community.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Plan and provide speech language evaluations and treatment for clients
- Write appropriate reports in association with evaluations and treatment that meet all compliance regulations
- Collaborate with family and other staff to aid/improve client's speech and language skills
- Conference/consult with families and/or caregivers
- Maintain appropriate records of treatment, such as clinical notes, attendance records, and other data as may be requested
- Schedule clients within 48 hours of assignment
- Provide regular written report summaries (quarterly)
- Collaborate with outside agencies when appropriate
- Maintain active caseload through scheduling and outreach
- Other duties as assigned
- Low error rates and overall quality of work output
- Integration into the team(s)
- Ability to work independently with extensive multi-client demands
- Demonstration of evolving technical and communication skills
- Masters' degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Maryland License
- ASHA Certification (CCC)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- Proven endeavors toward professional growth and learning
- Computer literacy
- Frequently requires sitting, using hands, reaching and twisting
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds with or without assistance
