This position is responsible for the daily production of fresh pasta and related preparations for service. You’ll work closely with our chefs to craft a variety of handmade pastas that meet our high standards of consistency, texture, and flavor.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce fresh pasta doughs (e.g., egg-based, semolina, laminated) from scratch daily.
- Cut, shape, and portion pasta varieties such as rigatoni, pappardelle, agnolotti, bucatini, gnocchi, etc.
- Follow precise recipes, specs, and portioning guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized pasta station and prep area.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to support the execution of pasta dishes during service.
- Monitor inventory and communicate ingredient needs or shortages.
- Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
- 1 years experience in pasta production or high-end prep kitchens preferred.
- Strong knife skills and understanding of dough handling.
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and execute consistent results.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work mornings and weekends.
