POSITION SUMMARY
Performs timely movements of inbound and outbound trailers.
Major Responsibilities
- Transport and delivery of trailers in accordance with the schedule.
- Perform distribution operator functions when time permits
- Performs required DOT inspections on tractor and trailers.
- Keep active logs of trailer movement, assist in yard and slot management.
- Properly secure loads and ensure loads are within weight limits
- Assist in other logistical processes per business necessity.
- Follows all policies and procedures, best practices, DOT and OSHA regulations.
