WHO YOU ARE
Our Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for cycle counting, variance analysis, and data gathering/researching quality issues in our distribution center during 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 5:30am - 2:00pm).
WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Our distribution center is located at 1 True Temper Drive, Carlisle PA 17015.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all system cycle counts and re-counts and conduct cycle count variance investigations when required in a given time period.
- Will review inventory inaccuracies and assist with the development and implementation of appropriate solutions.
- Gathers, analyzes and computes recorded inventory on hand from all systems and compares the physical counts.
- Maintains inventory systems: Oracle, WMS, Logfire, INFOR, LN
- Ensures “New Item Setup” has the proper “Master Strategy” and “Location Class” using our ECB (Engineering Change Bulletin) and NII (New Item Introduction) processes once the item drops in the system.
- Initiates and participates in continuous improvement through cost savings and other related activities.
- Gives and welcomes constructive feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit.
- Perform other duties within department as assigned
- Assist leads and supervisors with any inventory related issues.
- Assist with outside auditors.
- Assist other facilities as needed.
- Assist in required systems testing.
- Follows all policies and procedures, best practices, and OSHA regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
CERTIFICATES/LICENSURE
Must pass and maintain lift truck certification.
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three months or more related experience.
