We are seeking a financial reporting manager to join our finance team. This is a key role in supporting and coordinating the financial reporting process, analytics of our business, and other value added projects.
This role entails the following :
- Manage and lead the day-to-day accounting processes
- Provide the overall direction, coordination, evaluation, coaching and development of accounting staff
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and analysis
- Perform regular reviews and evaluations of actual-to-budget performance; determine trends affecting budget implementation; prepare financial reports comparing current budget and costs to previous years
- Work with the external auditors to complete the annual financial audit
- Perform accounting research and draft internal communications and policies
- Interact across the Company, involve in managing and analyzing confidential operating results, financial information, operating procedures, and forecasts, and have the impact on certain management decisions
- Implement new accounting standard when applicable
- Complete special projects
- Build and improve efficiencies of current processes and files
