Job Description
This senior-level position plays a crucial role in supporting the US Surety business line by providing unparalleled commitment, service, and underwriting expertise. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing relationships with assigned brokers to develop new business aligned with department strategy and goals
- Managing and overseeing a regional portfolio
- Supervising regional underwriting staff
- Establishing and communicating premium objectives with target brokers
- Reviewing, negotiating, and accepting or declining submitted business using assigned underwriting authority
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of surety underwriting practices and procedures, as well as proficiency in various computer software programs used by The Amynta Group.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A financial-oriented Bachelor's degree
- At least 7 years of surety experience
