Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to oversee all aspects of our establishment’s operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless dining and bar experience while achieving business goals, maintaining high standards, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Management:
Supervise daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure smooth service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant environment, including staff-restricted areas.
Handle procurement of liquor, food, and other restaurant supplies.
Ensure the restaurant remains fully stocked and inventory levels are maintained.
Supervise housekeeping duties and responsibilities.
Sales & Marketing:
Promote the restaurant through online and local marketing efforts.
Plan and execute marketing events to drive customer engagement.
Achieve sales targets and strategize for business growth.
Host customers during busy periods to enhance guest experience.
Staff Management:
Hire, train, and manage restaurant and bar staff.
Maintain staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage.
Track staff work hours and ensure compliance with labor laws.
Address and resolve staff concerns, fostering a positive work environment.
Customer Service & Compliance:
Address customer complaints and disputes professionally.
Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained.
Oversee adherence to health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
Financial & Administrative Duties:
Monitor and manage expenses to maximize profitability.
Handle restaurant taxes, payroll, and periodical utility bill payments.
Report regularly to the owner without fail.
Manage external affairs and correspondences as required.
Requirements:
Prior experience in restaurant and bar management is a must.
Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Proficiency in computer applications related to inventory, payroll, and sales tracking.
Must be well-organized, responsible, and proactive.
Ability to work flexible hours, including being available from 11 AM - 10 PM on weekdays and until 1 AM on weekends.
One day off per week (Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday, as per choice).
