Job Title: Crochet and or Knitting Instructor for Kindergarten and Elementary School Students
Job Description: We seek a creative and enthusiastic crochet/knitting instructor to teach elementary school students fun, engaging, and educational crochet and knitting classes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching children, skilled in crochet and knitting techniques, and able to create a welcoming, supportive environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities:

• Teach crochet and knitting techniques to elementary school-aged children (ages 5-12)
• Provide hands-on instruction and assist students in learning and completing their projects
• Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Organize and maintain materials for each lesson (yarn, hooks, needles, etc.)
• Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress, if necessary
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure students follow safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching or working with children, preferably in a classroom setting
• Strong knowledge of crochet and knitting techniques (basic to intermediate level)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children and parents
• Creative, patient, and positive attitude
• Background in arts and crafts, education, or a related field is a plus
• Ability to plan and execute engaging, hands-on lessons
• Reliable and responsible

Class Details:

• Age group: Kindergarten and Elementary school students (ages 5-12)
• Frequency: Once or twice a week for 2-3 hours, or After-school program
• Location: Celina, Texas
• Class size: Small groups
