Join Our Team! Position Available for Lead Teachers-Toddlers.

We are excited to announce an immediate opening for Lead Teachers in our Toddler Program at The Anchored School in Celina, Texas!

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum.  Familiarity with Creative Curriculum is a plus!
  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support children's development.
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
  • Planning and delivering lessons designed to facilitate students' social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Encouraging self-expression through understanding, flexibility, and behavioral reinforcement.
  • Tending to students' basic needs by feeding and dressing them.
  • Modeling appropriate behaviors, even when not on duty.
  • Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to always learning.
  • Tracking and informing parents of student's progress.
  • Keep abreast with the latest trends and best practices
  • Excellent knowledge of child development and the latest education theories and practices
  • Creative and artistic teaching abilities
  • Teaching and organization skills
  • Patience and flexibility
  • Strong communication skills

    • Qualifications :

    o   Degree in education or relevant license / certificate

    o   State teaching certification / licensure / CDA (required)

    o   Experience working with young children.

    o   Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    o   Understanding of Project based style of teaching where Students are driven by purposeful work.
