What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gps dozer operator position at The Anderson Company?
The Anderson Company, LLC, a site development company for over 27 years is seeking an experienced GPS Dozer operator. This position will be under the supervision of a superintendent and will work with other construction professionals. By applying to this position you acknowledge that you will be responsible for commuting to the jobsite you have been assigned to. We operate in the Northern Virginia area.
Essential functions:
- Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, trees, and other obstacles.
- Use dozer machine to move earth, rocks, and other materials to grade land to the specificity required on construction blueprint.
- Collaborate with construction crew members to complete projects efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment as required.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in operating heavy equipment with GPS.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments and withstand long hours of operation.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to the jobsite.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
