What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Assistant position at The Anderson Nursing and Rehabilitation?
The Anderson is a Long Term Care Facility located in gorgeous Anderson Twp. Ohio. We are actively seeking an outgoing, social, and friendly new personality to join our Activities department.
Schedule:
Appropriate candidate will be working some evenings and every other weekend to provide fun and stimulating activities for our residents.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with providing scheduled activities to our senior community
- Providing one-on-one social interaction with residents
- Charting progress notes in the resident charts
- Assisting with Special Events put on by the company
- Help deliver and serve meals to our residents
- Attend Care Conferences when needed
- Activities Assistants report directly to the Activities Director
- Participate in Resident Council meetings
Qualified candidates must possess:
- Outgoing personality
- Friendly demeanor
- Ability to provide social interaction with both residents and their families
- Desire to work with the Senior community and ability to demonstrate respect and companionship to that community
- Basic computer literacy
