Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and interventions
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and reporting to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, conditions, and self-care techniques
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing assistants and support staff
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of nursing administration, including Medicare regulations and HIPAA compliance
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Experience in hospice care, acute care, or nursing home settings is a plus
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
