What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP PART TIME. DAY AND NIGHT POSITIONS AVAILABLE position at The Angelus?
Job is a DSP / CNA / HHA type position. Hands on working with mentally and physically disabled individuals. All individuals are total care. Duties include total care of client (feeding, bathing, changes, medication, etc.). Other activities include helping residents complete their goals and documenting progress made. Staffing ratio is between 1 to 3 and 1 to 5 depending on the level of client care required.
Campus style facility, multiple homes on one location, no traveling between locations. All required training is paid for by the facility, including training hours.
Pay starting at $15 per hour
Free Meal on Shift
6 hours shifts 4a-10a or 4p-10p 4 days a week.
Over the age of 18
Must have high school diploma or GED and bring a copy of it when you fill out an application.
Preferred to have 1 year verifiable experience working with the handicapped population or in the medical field or in childcare.
- If you don't meet the 1-year requirement positions available will be limited
Must pass drug screen
Must pass level 2 AHCA background check (at applicant expense)
