The Company : Willow Ridge Animal Hospital provides compassionate veterinary care for pets in the Loves Park, IL community. Our experienced team of veterinarians is dedicated to ensuring the well-being and health of your pet. We offer a wide range of services, including boarding and grooming, to keep them happy and healthy.
The Role : As a Pet Groomer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the health, appearance, and comfort of our furry clients. Working independently yet cohesively within our veterinary team, you will ensure each pet receives top-notch grooming tailored to their needs and owner expectations.
Job Type : Full-Time or Part-Time, Commission (Starting at 50%, based on experience)
Qualifications :
- 1-2 years of proven professional grooming experience.
- Grooming certification preferred.
- Fear Free Certified Professional recommended.
- Familiarity with standard cuts, including grooming while pet is sedated.
- Skilled in nail trimming, scissoring, styling, etc.
- Sound understanding of animal behavior.
- Must be able to work under conditions that require sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, pulling pushing and grasping.
- Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds.
