What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at The Animal House?
-Must feel comfortable around animals.
-Making sure merchandise is on the sales floor and displayed cleanly and appropriately.
-Setting up displays.
-Executing price changes.
-Offering assistance to shoppers.
-Operating the POS system as needed.
-Inventory counts.
-Respond to questions regarding the best products for pets and must therefore maintain extensive knowledge about the habits and characteristics of pets in order to provide effective customer service.

Qualifications
-High School diploma or equivalent.
-Computer literacy.
-Retail sales experience; pet nutrition experience a plus.
-Passion to make a difference in the health and lives of pets.
-Able to help multiple customers at once; strong interpersonal skills.
-Strong time management and organizational skills.
-Able to lift 50 lbs.
