We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily care and well-being of dogs in the facility
- Provide food, water, and medication to dogs as directed
- Clean and sanitize runs, yards, and animal living areas
- Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to management
- Playgroup management and Behavior management
- Maintain accurate records of animal intake, feeding, and medical treatments
-Interact with clients, checking in dogs, answering phone calls, making reservations, using computer software to do so.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Looking to fill positions covering 7:00am-3:00pm weekedays or 6:00am-2:00pm weekdays, and weekends (7:00am-11:15am, 3:00pm-6:15pm).
