Description:
Objective: To support our Facilities Manager and Operations management. Perform maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of our machinery, warehouse equipment including forklifts, aerial lifts, etc. as well as our building and property in a safe and timely manner. Ensure all maintenance meets or exceeds Antigua’s quality standards and regulatory safety standards along with keeping accurate records of work performed.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper operation of all machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance (PM) in accordance with applicable safety standards.
- Perform facility, building, and machinery repairs as needed.
- Determine maintenance and repair schedules in conjunction with the facilitie manager.
- Prepare PM and repair maintenance documentation to include the root cause of repairs along with response times for both PM and repairs.
- Become proficient with all the functions of our apparel decoration equipment.
- Coordinate repairs or projects with outside contractors and vendors when necessary.
- Be part of launching a TPM program.
- Contribute to our environment of continuous improvement and eliminating waste.
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Speak and treat others in a respectful manner.
- Other tasks assigned by management.
- Associate degree or 2-year maintenance/technical educational program.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a production maintenance environment.
- Mechanically inclined with proven mechanical capabilities.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and components.
- Experience in launching and participating in TPM programs.
- Must have strong initiative, follow-up, and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and safety regulatory standards and compliances
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $35.00 - $36.40 per hour
