What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter position at The Antigua Group Inc?
Antigua is looking for an energetic and resourceful Recruiter to join its team. This individual must be experienced with recruiting on a large scale within a fast-paced environment. The right individual will need high energy, excellent organizational skills and a team player who can thrive at managing and attracting candidates through social media channels and hosting online and internal Job Fairs. Some of the other key responsibilities of this position are:
- The knowledge to proactively identify and use all available recruiting tools including social media, and job board, working with career advisors, etc.
- Networking within the community and via the web to establish avenues to bring in the right talent.
- Utilize HRIS/ Recruiting and On-boarding Systems, preferably Paylocity.
- Responsible with processing confidential and sensitive information
- Understanding of employment law as it applies to recruitment, inclusion and employment.
- Manage scheduling using TEAMS and HRIS.
- Ability to work flexible schedule when required.
- An individual with three years’ experience of recruiting candidates, preferrable in the Manufacturing Industry.
- Knowledge of the laws that govern human resources practices, as it relates to recruiting.
- Experience recruiting using social media, job board and working with career advisors and all other recruiting avenues.
- Experience with using HRIS/ Recruiting and On-boarding Systems, preferably Paylocity
- The ability to network and establish contacts to attract candidates.
- Must be very organized with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid user of Microsoft TEAMS, Word and Excel.
- Flexible working overtime when required, which may include the weekends.
