We are assisting a small well-established law firm find their next long-term Paralegal who enjoys a lively, yet relaxed, atmosphere. This Temp-to-Hire opportunity involves working directly with the legal team, you will complete projects such as discovery requests, due diligence and discovery table creation/documentation. The most successful candidate will have previous work experience in a law firm conducting research, drafting correspondence and analyzing case information.
What you'll do:
- Seeking a strong legal professional to assist in research, document organization and analysis
- The Paralegal will work directly with the legal team to complete projects such as discovery requests, due diligence and discovery table creation/documentation
- Draft documents for review
- Schedule and attend legal meetings
- Research laws and legal precedents
- Perform legal research
- Review documents for errors
- Send correspondence to other lawyers on behalf of the company
- Draft documents and memos
What you'll need to have:
- The successful candidate will have previous work experience in a law firm or other organization where they conducted legal research, drafted correspondence, analyzed case information and organized files
- Ideal candidate will have experience as a Litigation Paralegal Legal Assistant in a Law Firm
- High school or equivalent required
- Paralegal certification preferred
