Our automotive manufacturing client is seeking a Maintenance Clerk. The clerk will provide clerical support for maintenance staff including maintenance tracking, purchasing, and inventory support. Responsibilities:
- Maintain equipment information in maintenance software as well as physical files
- Create and update preventive maintenance tasks as needed
- Generate and distribute preventive maintenance work orders weekly
- Close out PM work orders in maintenance software as they are completed
- Produce reports as request from maintenance software
- Track maintenance spending trends
- Track on-time PM work orders completion for management review
- Track machine efficiencies for management review
- Track time spent on tool changes as requested by location
- Create and update process control sheets as needed as requested by location
- Work with quality depart to track maintenance of gages and other quality tasks with the maintenance software system
- Create any documents as required
- Maintain maintenance inventory in software system
- Coordinate non-hazardous waste pick up and track as required by ISO 14001
- Purchasing of maintenance items (MRO Purchasing) including obtaining quotes, creating PO in system, and tracking the order
- Key member of EMS team and assist in EMS audits
- Comply with safety regulations & maintain clean and orderly work areas (5S)
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications:
- Must have GED or equivalent
- Must have excellent computer skills, i.e. Excel and Word. QAD/MQ1 knowledge preferred.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Monday - Friday
7 am - 3 pm (Possible OT and weekend work)
