What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Programming Research and Development Intern position at The Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University?
The Visualization and Decision Support Division at the Penn State Applied Research Lab is seeking a qualified undergraduate Research and Development Interns.
Visualization and Decision Support (VDS) researches, develops, and applies technical innovations that provide decision advantage through the use of visualizations, analytics, artificial intelligence, geographic information systems, simulations, and collaboration technologies.
Undergraduates pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Information Science and Technology, and Engineering are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates will work up to 20 hours/week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours/week over the summer. This is a paid internship located in State College, PA. Relocation and housing are not provided.
You will work in an Agile software development environment to develop and maintain web-based software solutions. Some tasks may include:
