Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent
*
Minimum of 60 college units or an AA/AS degree preferred
*
Coursework at an accredited institution of higher education in child development, education and/or psychology is highly desirable
*
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
*
Provide one-on-one support to assigned student(s) with diverse learning needs, including academic assistance and/or physical support as required.
*
Maintain consistency in daily routines to support student stability.
*
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during classroom activities and transitions.
*
Communicate effectively with teachers and other staff to coordinate support for students.
*
Foster a gentle and supportive environment for students to encourage positive behavior.
*
Provide assistance to students when using the restroom.
*
Attend meetings and training, as scheduled
*
Performs related tasks as required.
