The Activity Director is the mastermind behind all the fun in the community, from organizing engaging events for every interest and ability to overseeing the activity crew. It's like being the captain of a ship full of excitement and entertainment!
We are on the hunt for a Rockstar Activity Director bursting with energy and creativity. Your mission? To lead the charge in planning, overseeing, and diving headfirst into activities within our vibrant senior living community. We're after a quick-change artist who can spread positivity like confetti, with top-notch customer service skills and a knack for stellar communication. If you're organized, tech-savvy, and thrive in team settings, you're the missing puzzle piece we need. Experience in senior living is a bonus, but not a deal-breaker!
Other responsibilities will be:
- Conduct individual and group engagement activities for residents as well as assist with special community events
- Plan and coordinate activities
- Maintain the monthly calendar of activities and events that provide a variety of resident and family-centered experiences
- Prepare the monthly newsletter
The ideal candidates is someone who adores hanging out with lively seniors and those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. They should be a ball of energy, bursting with creativity and positivity, and have at least a year of experience working in a senior living setting.
