What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales Specialist position at The Arbor Company?
The Regional Sales Specialist assists and/or directs the marketing and sales efforts in assigned communities or regions within The Arbor Company. Directed by the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the Sales Specialist works remotely with the primary function of filling vacant Sales Director positions and/or lending additional sales support in communities. The Sales Specialist sells the community to both leads and area professionals, advancing leads through the sales process to meet established goals and function as primary contact for phone inquiries and walk-in visitors to drive occupancy.
The Sales Specialist may also onboard, train, and support other sales-oriented positions. Working collaboratively with community Executive Directors and sales leadership, the Sales Specialist identifies ways to maximize occupancy and revenue and execution of the community marketing plan. The Sales Specialist also monitors community marketing budgets and spend downs according to budget.
Overnight travel and working occasional weekends and evenings are required. Travel could be to any of the 11 states Arbor has communities.
Preferred Background:
- Three years of successful sales experience in a related industry.
- Two years of sales and marketing experience with actual on-site experience in an Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Independent Living community preferred.
- Demonstrated sales closing skills with a consistent record of high occupancy results.
- Collaborative team player able to establish effective working relationships with team members.
- Demonstrated experience in promoting a high level of customer service and hospitality towards and among all residents, associates, and visitors.
