Janitorial Supervisor (FT/Evening)

Provide supervision, training and support to supported workers in completing assigned commercial janitorial contract sites. This position is a working supervisor position that oversees a crew of workers with disabilities. Responsible for the workers’ safety & training program while completing janitorial services at commercial locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining /cleaning janitorial contract sites as per contract requirements.
• Demonstrate/train proper janitorial cleaning techniques to individual crew members.
• Complete required documentation as required.
• Assist with development and implementation of worker’s PCP, (Person Centered Plan).
• Attend PCP meetings when scheduled.
• Operate passenger van safely in congested driving environments.
• Complete all agency required trainings and refreshers for position.
• Complete required ICM data entry on cell phone.
• Complete required customer’s QE data entry on cell phone if required.
• Ensure that the assigned vehicle is maintained properly, and monthly reporting is completed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• One to three years’ experience in the janitorial field.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license (not provisional) with a clean driving record

Preferred:

• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.

• Demonstrated industry standards knowledge in janitorial techniques.
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to work and lead a work crew effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills necessary.
• Must work effectively within a team environment.

Working Conditions

• Evening shift, Monday – Friday 3:00pm-8:00pm. Flexible to work additional hours, as needed.
• Required to operate a passenger van in congested traffic environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be available by use of a personal cell phone.
