Oversee The Arc Baltimore Landscape and Policing’s day-to-day operations. Create and execute schedules and crew assignments. Provide field supervision and quality inspections of both Landscape Maintenance and Policing contract sites. Ensure that supported workers have appropriate training opportunities to prepare them for community-based employment. Maintain on-going customer relations to ensure excellent outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that the supported worker’s rights and dignity are protected, and that they have maximum training opportunities to prepare for community employment
- Responsible for daily scheduling and field supervision of 20 crews
- Quality inspections of all landscape and policing locations to ensure excellent outcomes
- Continual communication with all customers, and routine Quality Assurance (QA) site visits
- Open dialogue with all stakeholders to assure expectations are met, and modifications/additions to SOW are executed
- Develop and maintain subcontractor relationships, to ensure prompt and successful outcomes of work outside The Arc Baltimore capabilities
- Maintain Maryland Pesticide Applicator’s licenses, record keeping, training of staff, and recertification requirements
- Assist with contract pricing/repricing and invoicing
- Assist the HSM team with supporting workers with disabilities and participate with the Person-Center planning process as needed
- Complete all agency required trainings and refreshers for position
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- 3-5 years in landscape/policing/commercial grounds maintenance experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Demonstrated industry standards including plant identification and uses, turf management, pest ID and IPM practices
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Must have, or obtain within 6 months of hire, Maryland Pesticide License
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred:
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in related field

- ‘Curb appeal’ approach to grounds maintenance
- Ability to work and lead teams effectively
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills necessary
- Must work effectively within a team environment
Working Conditions
- Scheduled hours are 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday. Will require some flex work hours including evenings and weekends
- At least 50% of work hours are in the field, the balance in an office setting
- Must be available by use of a personal cell phone
