Living Options & Services at The Arc provides person-centered residential supports that empower people with disabilities to live independently and thrive in their communities. An Administrative Manager plays a crucial role in this department by ensuring efficient scheduling, resource management, and compliance with staffing requirements, allowing Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to focus on delivering high-quality care. Their leadership and coordination help maintain stability and continuity in services, ensuring that people receive the support they need to lead fulfilling lives.
The Administrative Manager will support the planning and allocation of Direct Support Professional (DSP) resources across Living Options & Services. The Administrative Manager will manage all aspects of scheduling, DSP engagement, and coordination to ensure that group homes are staffed according to The Arc and DDA requirements. They must provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional and welcoming attitude. The Administrative Manager will be a member of the Leadership Council. This position must meet the requirements of a DSP and complete all trainings.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing staffing logistics to ensure quality support for people receiving services. They excel in communication, problem-solving, and collaboration with leadership to address staffing challenges, optimize resource allocation, and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. This person is adaptable, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and committed to supporting Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) while upholding The Arc’s mission of providing person-centered services.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of three years of experience proving administrative support and past role(s) as a manager. A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
