Position Objective:
To create a positive and engaging client-focused work environment that fosters employee satisfaction, productivity and retention, as well the overall employee experience through various programs including, but not limited to, employee communications, onboarding, training, recognition, wellness, and rewards programs. Works to improve the level of engagement, satisfaction, and commitment among employees in the organization.
Program Specific Job Requirements:
Design and implement strategies and initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and commitment.
- Conduct surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one conversations to gather feedback and insights from employees, and then use that data to identify areas needing improvement.
- Conduct stay interviews
- Conduct surveys for families and clients to ensure quality of programs
Collaborate with other professionals and human resources staff to create and coordinate employee engagement efforts, aligning these efforts with the agencies overall goals. Provide support in the areas of employee engagement, including diversity, inclusion and equity.
Organize and coordinate employee events, team-building activities, and social gatherings to build relationships and promote collaboration, wellbeing and a sense of camaraderie and connection within the agency while boosting engagement and bringing our core values to life.

Develop and implement programs that recognize and reward employees.
Keep accurate and detailed records of employee engagement initiatives and tracking the impact of these initiatives
Assist in the design and implementation of a proactive, comprehensive onboarding program for new staff. Ensure that the onboarding process is seamless, informative and welcoming.
Administer new employee orientation.
Offer support to the leadership team in creating a career growth plan for the employees to ensure that employees receive all the guidance and trainings in order to grow.
Ensure that employees have a great experience from onboarding to exit.
Oversee the Learning Management System.
Become proficient on AWARDS, Paycom, TRAIN Florida and iConnect, then teach new employees to use these systems as needed.

- AED trainer/monitor
Train in CPR/First Aid/AED. Work with Human Resource Specialist to track certifications to ensure all employees receive training in a timely manner.
Manage and distribute the employee newsletter, ensuring that the content is relevant and accurate.
Analyze trends in stay and exit interview data, using the information to improve the overall employee experience and identify potential areas for organizational improvement.
Provide backup to Human Resources Generalist and Vice President, Human Resources as needed.
Qualifications
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, such as human resources, business psychology, or organizational development preferred. (Experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.)
- A minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory and employee relations capacity desired.
- Experience in employee engagement or human resources, or related field desired.

Salary: $38,000 to $43,000 annually
