Assists an individual with developmental disabilities with skill acquisition, retention, or improvement in self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills. Assists in the development and attainment of life goals. Provides support and services to individuals to attain independence, productivity, and integration.
General Duties/Responsibilities:
-Provides individualized care as outlined in the service plan.
-Prepares documentation and submits reports as required via electronic platform (need own access to a smart phone).
-Attends all established or assigned meetings and trainings. (To begin the job, a 1 day orientation is necessary.)
-Provides First Aid/CPR as requested by the participant.
-Provides safe transport as requested by the participant.
-Maintains confidentiality of person served.
-Acts in accordance with policies, procedures, and the Agency Corporate Compliance Policy. Reports suspected or actual violations thereof to the appropriate party.
-Maintains professional decorum at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
