We are currently have openings for Full-Time evenings and overnights as a Direct Support Professional who is responsible for providing individualized, person-centered, skills training and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community setting. This position strives toward ensuring every individual served is able to achieve a meaningful, satisfying quality of life.
Birch House is located on the outskirts of Carmel on off of Route 301, surrounded by beautiful reservoirs. It is a cozy two-story home of 11 very active ladies. They range in age from 20’s to 80’s. All of the ladies have different interests but one thing they all have in common is that they love to go out and shop! Whether to Department stores at the mall or the Dollar Tree, the ladies enjoy being out and about. They also love to go out to a variety of restaurants and even enjoy days at the park. While home they enjoy relaxing while watching TV, cooking, and doing arts and crafts. The ladies have different goals that they are working towards and could use your support in accomplishing. As a Direct Support Professional of The Arc Mid-Hudson, you will be introduced to your Success Coach who will help train you as you learn and develop skills for your new position. The Arc Mid-Hudson wants to invest in YOU!

- Base range is $ 19.19 to $ 21.11 based on relevant experience and education.
- In addition, shift differentials for evenings /overnights ($1.15) and weekends ($ 1.25 per hour) will be added to this base range.
