Waiver Respite staff will provide 1 : 1 temporary care / supervision of person with special needs, which will p rovide the parent / caregiver a break from everyday routines supporting the person. Staff will provide a safe environment and may include social and community activities. Employees who work for Waiver Respite should be flexible and self-motivated. Time management skills are definitely important in this position which requires a great deal of independence. After-school, early evening and weekend hours are available for Waiver Respite. PART-TIME HOURS / SCHEDULES AVAILABLE : (1) 12 hours per week / after school / evenings / weekends (2) 10 hours per week / flexible STARTING SALARY : $ 18.50 to $ 20.35 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable Minimum Requirements Acceptable NYS Driver's License and a reliable vehicle are preferred Computer skills
